Emma and Scotty, two of the most down to earth people whom we just adore dearly. Their wedding was nothing short of amazing. With every little detail thought about Emma and Scott created a wedding that was personal and intimate and truly a one of a kind. Set at the stunning location Flaxton Gardens on a rainy yet mystical overcast day, I don’t think a thing could have dampened either of their spirits, not even the ominous clouds that lingered overhead. Honestly, I love rainy weddings! Especially ones up in the mountains, their is really something special about how pretty the light get’s when it is overcast and misty.
But aside from all of that, what really got me was Emma and Scott’s love story. I am a bit of a sucker for romance, what girl isn’t? So I just have to share this with you. Emma’s own words… ‘‘Quit your job, buy a ticket, get a tan, fall in love, never return’ – actually happened to me…minus getting the tan, I am just covered in freckles!’
They literally have a real fairytale love story and it would be unjust of me not to share just how special it was. They met years ago when Emma was backpacking through Australia with her lovely sister Liz (MOH). Obviously like most backpackers do, they ran out of money dashed of to the middle of nowhere in outback Australia and started bar tending at a local pub. Just so happens Emma poured the worst beer of her life and served it to Scotty and from there started their love story.

Well what can I say. This wedding is pure gold. Emma and Michael tied the knot in September up in the lovely sunshine coast’s Eerwah Valley and boy oh boy, the golden light sure did come out to play. Capriole Estate was the perfect little venue for them even if it all happened last minute. Just a few months before their big day, the venue that they had booked closed it doors which meant they were on the look out for another location, at the very last minute. Well I think they did pretty well and as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason. And this my friends was a good one. Anyway, I am going to let the photos speak for themselves! Credits for all the vendors involved are below, oh and a bit of a testimonial from Emma and Michael about us is just below too! Enjoy x
“On behalf of Michael and I we would like to thank you for your services at our wedding in September.
Being in front of the camera does not come naturally to us, so we were thankful to have the opportunity to get used to the idea with an engagement session. This gave us the opportunity feel more confident with you guys and therefore relax a little on our wedding day.
You have produced such amazing photos and we will treasure them for a lifetime. We have shared our favourites with our family and friends and they agree with the wonderful job that you have done in capturing our wedding day. Lots of our guests commented on your ability to mix with people at a function and we certainly think this is your strength. You were never the central focus of the wedding (as can happen), you simply mingled and went about your work, and the results speak for themselves.
We would recommend your services to any couple looking for a professional team to capture their wedding day.
Thank you again
Emma and Michael”
